Billy Blue College of Design shares the Design Campus space with CATC Design School, both specialist design colleges which are enthusiastic members of the local Melbourne Design scene and industry. State-of-the-art learning facilities include purpose built photography studios, IT-supported digital computer labs, exhibition spaces, and a library stocked with new books and design learning resource including international design industry publications.
A fresh and contemporary space with open access areas will provide Billy Blue students with flexible, multidisciplinary learning environments, inspiring studio class rooms and on-site break out zone areas where they you can collaborate or relax.
This light and open campus will be in a central location, close to cafes and Spencer Street Station, in one of the most relevant and inspiring Australian cities.

The Legend of Billy Blue
The legend of Billy Blue has spread from Sydney to Brisbane, and now to the thriving city of Melbourne. Named after an eccentric convict, Billy Blue began as a magazine and eventually became a design studio. Now Billy Blue College of Design is highly regarded by the national and international visual communications industry and attracts enthusiastic and exceptional students.
With more than 25 years of history, Billy Blue has established a reputation for providing students with the knowledge and experience to start their careers in design. Each program is specifically tailored to help students master the skills necessary to become a creative and productive member of the design community. Billy Blue educators are dedicated industry practitioners who have pulled their expertise together to create a dynamic, commercial and contemporary teaching culture.
Courses
Students may specialise in communication design, brand fashion, commercial interiors and residential interiors design. Billy Blue courses, whether Vocational or Higher Education Bachelor Degrees, are born out the college's original mission of 'design education for designers by designers.' Billy Blue produces 'thinkers who can do.'
