2010 Graduate Exhibition a Huge Success

Billy Blue's Industry Liaison Leanne Rule had the following to report on the 2010 Graduate Exhibition - "Welcome to the Neighbourhood" Held last week at the Powerhouse Museum.

"This year's Graduate exhibition has been the most successful in the history of Billy Blue. Success being measured in terms of the vast number of attendees and the volume of serious interest in our graduates. Over 700 attendees visited throughout the night; and we had to resort to a "night-club style" "1 person out 1 person in" policy when the event venue reached the 500 person capacity.

For the team of students that worked on the exhibition, some students had up to 4 interviews with prospective employers in a single week and the majority of them had at least 1 interview lined up during the exhibition week. Amazing!

This is a great sign for our industry, business must be looking good for 2011. I have never seen industry be so competitive for our graduates and snap them up so quick, we even had people lined up to view the star student portfolios at the opening night Industry Preview! Outstanding.
