Billy Blue Brisbane Design Industry Speaker Series

The speaker series will take place over three evenings. You are welcome to come to one or all of the evenings being held at the Fortitude Valley Campus at 10 Costin Street. Light refreshments will be served.

Each evening will be held from 6pm to 8pm on the following dates and will feature leading design professionals and influencers from the design Industry within Brisbane.

Speaker #1

The series kicks off next week on Tuesday May 18th with Brisbane’s Hannah Cutts of “Cutts Creative” speaking on her experience in the Brisbane Design Community.

Hannah Cutts

If you’ve been to Brisbane, you’ve seen 'Cutts Creative' design work. Her distinct style permeates the surface of this city in the form of brand identities, packaging, environmental and promotional campaigns. 'Cutts Creative' work incorporates a lot of humour and strong themed concepts using illustration, photography and often fine artists. Her background as an illustrator is evident in her witty sometimes irreverent approach to design solutions. With the eye of an artist and the intellect of a strategist it is no wonder Hannah and Cutts Creative have collected a swag of awards both locally and internationally. “We strive to best communicate whatever message our clients projects need to get across, but keep it short, sweet and to the point.”

In conjunction with the first speaker evening event on Tuesday will also give you the opportunity to learn more about the portfolio portion of the application process. And you may also bring your portfolio to be reviewed on the evening as well.
