Our world is constantly evolving - how we work, who we work with and the technologies we use. Our 100% online Master of Digital Transformation and Creative Intelligence puts you in the driver’s seat ready to transform, innovate and adapt to market forces at an advanced level. Working on an incubator and/or accelerator project you’ll leverage agile approaches and strategies to lead change through people, process and platforms, positioning organisations for success. Paired with the strategic leadership, change management, design thinking and research skills offered and you’ll graduate a digital transformation authority in as little as 12 months.

This course is developed in collaboration with the Australian Government Digital Transformation Agency. Graduates are eligible to apply for the Australian Government Digital Graduate Program.

COURSE OVERVIEW

WHAT TO EXPECT

Address the rapid demand of industries confronted with Digital Transformation to create a fluid, agile approach to managing people, process and platforms. The Master of Digital Transformation and Creative Intelligence (MDTCI) will equip professionals with a broad range of knowledge to meet the needs of the work environment combined with advanced strategic and leadership skills gained through a deep and practice focused study.

Course learning outcomes:

  • Investigate and interpret the purpose and function of emerging technologies that lead to digital transformation including the role that people, process, platforms and creativity play as key transformation enablers.
  • Synthesise critical and creative thinking frameworks to review organisational capacity and readiness for interacting with contemporary digital environments.
  • Plan and execute innovative digital transformation solutions addressing ethical issues in practice, while articulating the field and the global nature of digital technology represented.
  • Exhibit sound judgment, non-partisanship and accountability, to direct and lead others to achieve effective digital transformation solutions.
  • Apply highly developed communication skills to transfer complex knowledge and ideas about digital transformation to influence and persuade a variety of audiences.
  • Assess and reflect on the significance of social justice and human rights through the development and implementation of human-centred design strategies.
  • Participate with industries and communities in a dialogue to identify and assess the opportunities and constraints of digital transformation solutions.
  • Demonstrate mastery of appropriate qualitative, quantitative or mixed research methods to incubate a chosen project.
  • Apply rigorous intellectual analysis, criticism and problem-solving in order to create a range of solutions to identified problems.

This course is made up of 10 6-week ONLINE SUBJECTS and 6 12-week IN-CLASS subjects in the following areas:

You will also complete the following project-based learning experiences:

This course is made up of 10 online, self-directed, 6-week subjects (5 core and 5 electives) along with 6 12-week in-class subjects (3 core and 3 electives).

Before you get started with your course application, check you meet all the requirements listed below.

The standard entry requirement is a completed qualification at AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above from an Australian University in a relevant field of study or an equivalent overseas higher education qualification or equivalent.

Students without an undergraduate degree, may be admitted on the basis of

  • At least 3 years professional experience in software development (documented e.g. CV), demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success; AND
  • A discipline specific portfolio; AND
  • A recommendation letter from 2 most recent employers (applicable to international students, and in addition to academic or special entry requirements noted above)
  • Australian bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and
  • Design portfolio of experience; and
  • Written proposal; and
  • Interview; and IELTS level 6.5 required, with no element less than 6 (or equivalent TOEFL, CAE or PTE).

Billy Blue Bachelor Degree courses are eligible for FEE HELP (Australian students only). FEE-HELP is Australian Government’s loan scheme for higher education degree courses. It can assist you in paying for all, or part of, your course fees. Repayments commence via the tax system once your income rises above a minimum threshold. Just like with any other debt, a FEE-HELP debt is a real debt that impacts your credit rating.
